Reel 07 · Hand-drawn anime · 9:16
A vertical summer moment in a sunflower field, drawn like classic cel animation. She smiles at the camera as a gust sweeps in: she tips her hat down against the wind, petals fly past and she comes up laughing. Then the wind dies down, her hair settles and she finishes on a soft smile. Wind, cicadas, her laugh and a gentle piano are generated alongside.

Keep @frame exactly: the same 2D hand-drawn anime style with bold clean black line art and flat cel colors, the same girl, the same straw hat with white ribbon, the same white dress, the same sunflowers, sky, clouds and framing. Change only her pose: she faces the viewer and looks straight into the camera with calm bright eyes and a small soft closed-mouth smile, one hand lightly touching the hat brim, her hair resting on her shoulders with only a few strands lifted by a faint breeze. Keep the face drawn in the same flat anime style with large eyes, no realistic shading.
Keep @frame exactly: the same 2D hand-drawn anime style with bold clean black line art and flat cel colors, the same girl in the same place facing the viewer, the same straw hat, white dress, sunflowers, sky and framing. Change only this: a strong summer gust is blowing from the right, her long chestnut hair and the white hat ribbon stream far out to the left, she holds the hat brim down with one hand, her eyes are closed in a big happy laugh with her mouth open, and a few yellow sunflower petals fly past her. Keep the face drawn in flat anime style, no realistic shading.
2D hand-drawn anime animation in a classic TV anime style, bold clean black line art and flat cel colors with hard-edged shadows, every frame drawn like a cel. A vertical medium close-up of a teenage girl in a wide straw sun hat with a white ribbon and a white summer dress, facing the camera in a vast sunflower field under a saturated blue sky with towering white cumulus clouds. Wind is already blowing as the shot begins. She looks into the camera with a small smile for a moment, then a warm gust sweeps in from the left: her long chestnut hair streams out behind her to the right, away from her face, the white hat ribbon flutters, the sunflowers bow and yellow petals drift past. She holds the hat brim with one hand, closes her eyes and breaks into one long happy open-mouthed laugh that lasts until the end of the shot, still facing the camera in the same spot. Her face stays clear and fully visible. Her face stays drawn in flat anime style with clean outlines, no 3D shading. The camera is locked off. Audio: wind rushing through the sunflower field and cicadas from the very first frame, a soft bright piano melody, and her bright audible girlish laughter that starts the instant she begins to laugh and continues to the end, no speech.

A frosted bottle on a wet stone slab. Shot one is a light reveal: the bottle starts in near darkness and the warm key light rises until the liquid glows and a caustic spreads on the slab. Shot two lifts the cap straight off the bottle to float above the nozzle. The bottle, the slab and the droplets never move; a bass swell and a glass chime are generated with the picture.
