Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for what you may create, upload and share with Keytween, and what happens when they are broken.
Last updated
This policy covers everything you do on Keytween, through the website or the API: the prompts you write, the images you upload and the images, video and audio you generate. By creating an account or using the service you agree to follow it. If you do not agree, do not use Keytween.
You are responsible for everything created with your account and for how you use it after it leaves the site. Generated content can be unpredictable, so review it before you publish or share it.
Who may use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You may not use the service if you are barred from receiving it under the laws of your country or under sanctions that apply to you.
- One person may hold one account that receives free trial credits. Creating extra accounts to collect trial credits is not allowed.
Content involving minors
We have zero tolerance for content that sexualises minors. You may not create, upload, request or attempt to generate:
- Child sexual abuse material of any kind, whether real, drawn, animated or AI-generated.
- Sexual, suggestive or fetishised depictions of anyone who is or appears to be under 18, including adults depicted as children and fictional or stylised characters who appear to be minors.
- Content that grooms, exploits or endangers children.
Sexual and adult content
Keytween is not an adult content service. You may not create or upload:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit images, video or audio, including explicit nudity and depictions of sexual acts.
- Content made for sexual gratification, fetish content or erotic services.
- Any sexual or intimate depiction of a real, identifiable person, whether or not they consent.
Real people, likeness and deception
You may not use another person's face, body, voice or identity without their permission. In particular, you may not create:
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that undresses, sexualises or humiliates a real person.
- Deepfakes or other content that shows a real person saying or doing something they did not say or do, in a way that could mislead viewers or harm that person.
- Content that impersonates a real person, brand, business or government body, or that is passed off as genuine footage or an official record.
- Misleading content about elections, voting, public health, emergencies or other civic matters, or fake news reports meant to be believed.
- Fake evidence, documents, identification, receipts or reviews.
Violence, hate and harm
You may not create or upload content that:
- Promotes, glorifies or supports terrorism, violent extremism or mass violence, or recruits for violent groups.
- Shows real or realistic graphic violence, gore, torture or cruelty to people or animals for shock or gratification.
- Threatens, harasses, bullies, intimidates or targets a person or group.
- Attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious disease.
- Promotes or instructs on suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
- Gives instructions for making weapons, explosives or dangerous substances, or for causing serious harm.
Illegal activity and other people's rights
You may not use the service to:
- Break any law that applies to you or to us.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy or other rights. Only upload images you own or have permission to use.
- Promote or facilitate fraud, scams, phishing, money laundering, illegal drugs, illegal weapons, human trafficking or other illegal goods and services.
- Collect or publish other people's personal information without permission, or create content that stalks or doxxes anyone.
- Create spam, or content for mass unsolicited messaging.
Using the service fairly
You may not:
- Try to get around our limits, safeguards, trial rules or payment checks, or use prompts designed to slip prohibited content past them.
- Share, sell or resell your account, credits or API keys, or let others use them, without our written permission.
- Access the service by automated means other than the documented API, or scrape, overload, probe, attack or interfere with it or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer the service, or use it or its outputs to build or train a competing generation service.
- Upload malware or anything that could harm the service or other users.
- Use stolen or unauthorised payment methods, or file chargebacks in bad faith.
Sharing what you make
- Do not present generated content as real footage or as the work of a real person when it is not.
- Follow the rules of any platform where you post generated content, including its rules on labelling AI-generated media.
- Content that breaks this policy may not be shared, sold or published, even if it was made with Keytween.
How we enforce this policy
We may review prompts, uploads and generated content in your account to investigate a report, to check for abuse or when the law requires it. We decide what breaks this policy, including content that is not listed here but carries the same harm.
If you break this policy we may, without notice:
- Remove content, refuse or stop a generation.
- Limit, suspend or permanently close your account and API keys.
- Withhold free trial credits, and decline to refund credits on an account closed for a serious or repeated violation, where the law allows.
- Ban you from creating new accounts.
- Preserve evidence and report you to law enforcement or the relevant authorities.
Child safety reports
We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as the law requires. The account involved is closed immediately and permanently, and the related content and account data are preserved for investigators instead of being deleted.
Reporting abuse
If you see content made with Keytween that breaks this policy, or you believe your likeness or your work has been used without permission, email [email protected]. Include links or details that help us find the content. We review every report and act on it as quickly as we can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service and the law change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated policy.
